Show God's Love

At Grace we don't just want people to go to church we want to BE the church, that is to put our faith in action by showing the people in our congregation and community God's deep and unconditional love. Here are some of the ways we are active in showing God's Love.

PARISH NURSES
Grace has registered nurses that can assist in health and healing concerns.  They are available to listen, support and give direction during times of need.  They are a resource for healthy lifestyle choices.  Our Parish Nurses also can assist individuals and families in assessing health care information by making referrals to local community agencies.

STEPHEN’S MINISTRY
Grace provides Christian one to one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.  It is confidential and nonjudgmental.   There are times when each of needs the care of another person, a Christian friend.  Some of the needs Stephen Ministers can help with are the terminally ill, those grieving a death or serious loss, those with a job crisis, those separated or divorced, or those in spiritual crisis.

SAMARITAN HOUSE
Grace is a part of the community care that the Samaritan House provides which include food, utility, clothing, medical service to families in need in the Romeo, Washington, Bruce and Shelby Areas.

MCREST
Grace participates in the Macomb County Emergency Shelter Team, providing food, shelter, transportation to the homeless in our community.  It truly is an honor to show God’s love to men in such time of need and crisis, helping them transition trying and get back on their feet.
